THERA:
Therapeutic massage is a type of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) practice that is often used to treat muscle pain, injury, and stiffness. Massage therapy has also been used for the treatment of mental and emotional problems, including stress, anxiety, and depression.
SPORTS:
Sports massage is focused and systematic, targeting muscles that are used in a specific sport. It uses various techniques including stretching and high percussion massage gun therapy to decrease muscle pain and improve recovery, as well as improve overall range of motion and flexibility to support safe and effective movement.
DEEP TISSUE:
Deep tissue massage is a massage technique that’s mainly used to treat musculoskeletal issues. It involves applying sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissues. This helps to break up scar tissue that forms following an injury and reduce tension in muscle and tissue.
SWEDISH:
Swedish massage is shown to energize the body and improve overall health. This type of massage involves actions like percussion, kneading, vibration, tapping and rolling. Massage oil or lotion is used to protect the skin from friction.
PRENATAL:
Massage can reduce stress hormones in your body and relax and loosen your muscles. It can also increase blood flow, which is so important when you’re pregnant, and keep your lymphatic system working at peak efficiency. During pregnancy, regular prenatal massages may not only help you relax, but may also relieve insomnia, joint pain, leg cramping, swelling, and headaches.
